About
I was raised by a single mom and a village of friends in the suburbs of New York City where photography became a part of my life at young age. At eleven years old, I began to use photography as a way to cope with everyday life. Today I observe the human condition through a lens to make sense of the moments that define us. The suffering and small joys all make us who we are, and I do my best to capture those in my work. On the whole I use photography as a way to make sense of humanity. I hope you find it helps you too. — Tyler McGinness
